Stamp A Stack Cards

Here are the Stamp A Stamp cards that I made last weekend with Stampin Up:

We made 8 cards in 3 1/2 hours. I was really impressed with how fast and easy each of these cards where.

I liked how I ran tape on the ribbon and just crunched it up and stuck it on this card.

This is the new Bliss stamp set which you can earn free with a $50 purchase.

This was fun cause I used the crayons to color in the truck and apples.

This is pattern paper with dots then 3 stamps stamped on it to come up with this cool design.

This one reminds me of the Cricut Cartridge "A Child's Year". It is so pretty.

Instead of trying to tie a bow, I folded and put a brad through the folds to hold the bow.

Both the flowers are popped up and the buttons are laced with twine.

This one used several different punches and was really very easy.

Well I hope you enjoyed. I will be doing another Stamp A Stack this Friday night and will post what I made. I am now headed back to work, so have a fantastic week.

Stamp-A-Stack

Hi all,

hope you all had a great weekend. I had a relaxing, yet family style weekend. Being it was 3 days off made it great. I did go to a Stamp-A-Stack gathering for Stampin Up on Saturday and made 8 wonderful cards. I would have uploaded, but my Camera battery is dead, so I am charging now. So I am crossing my fingers that tonight I will be posting the pics.

I am enjoying learning more and more about making cards. It is a very hard concept for me as I am the person who needs to make 2 page 12x12 layouts to have room to create. LOL I really do love the papers from Stampin Up and the stamp sets are really cool. Especially the ones you can get free with a $50 purchase. I love being a Demonstator as I am only doing it at this time for the discount. Which I am offering a 10% product total discount off any order placed through me. Which means you get free shipping, plus if you spend $50 you get to pick something from the celebration Catalog. I love the Bliss stamp set a whole lot. I promise to post the pics this evening if I get home in time, if not 1st thing tomorrow.

If interested in ordering, do let me know. God bless you all and have a fantastic week.

15 Minute Layout

Hi everyone, hope you all had a wonderful week and that your weekend will be fantastic. LOL Mine will be, I have 3 days off. YEAH!!!

Anywho, my husband made me a challenge and I decided to take him up on it. He says that it takes me to long to create a layout. Well I said that isn't really true. Well he proceeded to tell me that he didn't believe that I could do a layout without taking a day or two to complete. Well I had some that were already designed, so I said yes I could . Well then he said "Ok, here are the rules." YIKES!!!

1) New Design
2) Use only Scraps
3) Base of Layout to be White
4) No Pattern Paper
5) NO CRICUT (unless the cut was something I had in scraps) This One is a Killer
6) No Punches, No Cuttlebug, or any other machine that makes a design OR STAMPS
7) Only Scissors, Glue, Stickles, Pens/Markers, Ink Pad
8) You have 2 hours.

Well I was really not happy with hubby at this time. So, I proceeded to look through my folder of scrap stickers for something Spring Like. Then grabbed 3 colors of scraps that I thought would look ok together. This was easier than I had thought, I had done that in only 2 minutes. Well this is what I did with the rest of the 13 minutes. LOL It isn't great, but I am proud, cause I did it in 15 minutes (well except for the dry time on the stickles, but didn't explain that to hubby) and even got in 2 Cricut cuts that were scraps as well (that is the only place were you will see Pattern Paper, but being it was made before, that didn't count). Sorry not to great of a picture, but my camera is acting really crazy.

Smile

Thank you for looking. God Bless you all.

Hi,

I was Guest Designer yesterday over at "One by One the Flamingo's are Stealing my Sanity". Well today is another Guest Designer and more blog Candy, so be sure to hop on over there to get your chance at winning.

Guest Designer Today

Hi all,

Happy Valentines Day and wishing you a bright and beautiful time with you loved one. I just wanted to let you all know that I am Guest Designer today on One by One the Flamingo's are Stealing My Sanity. So hop on over and see my Birthday Card I created and comment to win some Blog Candy. Don't forget everyday this month is a day for blog candy giveaways, so you should hop over there everyday for your chance to win.

Also,

I finally finished my daughters class Valentines plus her teacher cards. I had to do 40 of them and 4 teacher cards and 1 hubby card. Well the worst was they were originally done Friday, but one of my fur babies decided they were for him and proceeded to destroy the whole bag of the treats and the 4 cards that I had made for her class. So I had to do something really quick. So I cut out everything for the 40 treats and the 5 cards that I needed to make. Well to let you know the electricity went out last night so I was not able to finish them. So up at 4am this morning to finish these treats and cards. The good thing is I did get them done by 8am so in plenty of time to get my little one to school without being late or without coming home and going back to the school later.

These are not what I had planned to have as treats, but in a crunch this is what I came up with thanks to Made by Momo:

This has a heart shaped lollipop inside with "Be Mine" on it in white.
The sizes and cuts are at the end of this post.

This is the card that I made for the Teachers and my Hubby and this is what I scraplifted from Made by Momo:

Treat Bag & Card Instrustions:

Tools Used:

Cricut Expression
Crop-A-Dial
Crop-A-Dial II
ATG Tape Runner
Martha Stewarts Score Board

Cartridges Used:

Pagoda
George
Accent Essentials
Groovy Times

Paper Used:

Black, White & Red - Close To My Heart
Pattern Paper - Provo Craft - Cricut 6x12 paper pack

Twine Used:

Hemp - Stampin Up

Ribbon Used:

Gingham - Close To My Heart - Cranberry

Stamp Used:

Bear Hugs - My Pink Stamper - More Punny-licious

Ink Used:

Eyes - Sakura Gelly Roll - White
Bear Hugs - Versa Magic Chalk Ink - Cloud White

Cuts Made:

Pagoda Cuts - Panda - 3"
Accent Essentials - Card Base - 5 3/4" (welded in Design Studio)
                           - Center of Card Base - 4 3/4" (any shifted Black Out Circle from AE will work)
Groovy Times - Heart - 1 1/2"

Pattern Paper Cuts for Treats:

Bottom Flap - 3 1/4" x 1 1/4"
Top Flap - 1 1/4" x 2"

Black Card Stock Cuts for Treats:

Treat Base - 11 1/2" x 2"
Scored at 5", 5 1/4", and 10 1/4"

Treat:

Charms - Valentine Pops - Cherry Hearts

Glues:

Scotch - Quick-Dry Adhesive
AGT 714 - 1/4" tape

Treat Bag: Fold at scored area's, then add your pattern paper. Make sure everything is lined up so all 3 folded pieced are tight and punch 2 holes, using your Crop-A-Dial,about 1/4" apart and in the middle of the top of the treat holder. These holes are for holding the lollipop in place with Twine/Hemp or Ribbon. Take one lollipop heart and run a little bit of ATG on the back. Press lollipop heart inside of treat holder. Fold up bottom flap, then top flap. Line up your holes and thread your Hemp/Twine/Ribbon through all 3 pieces you punched your holes through. Then thread through other hole and catching all three pieces. Then make a bow with your Hemp/Twine/Ribbon. After assembling your Panda and placing the heart in the middle of his hands, run 3 lines of ATG tape down the center and attach to the bottom of your treat holder.

Card: Using the Design Studio use the Accnt31s (the shifted image on page 31) at 5 3/4 and weld 2 of them together only at 2 of the petals leaving a small diamond shape in the center of the part that is welding. Cut this out along with all the other pieces (the heart can be replaced with the Shifted Heart on page 36 of Accent Essentials Cart. I just liked the one on Groovy Times better.). Take the Card base and Score through the welded part to make the card. Attach the Circle to the Card Base in the center. Attached assembled Panda to the Circle leaving enough room on the bottom of the circle for the Sentiment (I placed Sentiment before attaching my Panda). After placing your Sentiment and the Panda, at the top of the Circle punch 2 holes approximately 1" apart using the Crop-A-Dial II (make sure that you are only punching the front of the Card. Thread your Ribbon through and make a bow.

Hope you enjoyed my projects and don't forget to hop over to http:karelj.blogspot.com to see my Guest Designer project.

Thank you and have a blessed day.

My Project:

"Kick This"
Soccer/Futball Layout

My son in his younger days play Futball/Soccer with the AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization). Well I decide this was a good one to do a project on. I had to redo this cause my son said the one I was originally making didn't look boyish enough. So he proceeded to pick the papers that I used in the double page layout. Not that happy with his choice of backgrounds, but he wanted something really grungy.
