Five minute Break

Wow, I finally got 5 minutes to check emails and to breath for a second. One more day, it can't come fast enough. I love my family, but I have had enough. I need a break. It was a beautiful day today, but the pool was not warm enough to enjoy. I do hope that in the next 3 weeks that it gets warm enough. I want my DD's party to be a nice one. I am renting a bounce house as well, but I know that the kids love the pool.

Ok, here they come back in, and I need to serve dinner. So have a wonderful weekend.

Exhausted

Boy, for almost a month now, I have had 8 family members staying with me. It is so hard to do everything that you have to do in your everyday life, but to add 8 more people to cook, clean and take care of,  is just plain over doing it. I have never been so tired in all my life. This is my little break while they are out at the mall. I only have 2 more days and then I am going to need a vacation to get over being EXHAUSTED. Unfortunately, I still have to work and have to get ready for a garage sale and my little ones Birthday Party coming up in 3 weeks.

Well, I got to go, they just phoned and I need to pick them up and feed them all dinner. YIKES!!! Another late night!!!

Hope everyone has a fantastic Memorial Weekend.

Anniversary Card for DH

Well today is 23 years Married. Wow, time does fly by without you even realizing it.

This is a very simple card I made using Paisley, Give A Hoot and A Childs Year. The only difficult part was the welding/nudging of the letters for the words in the card.

Paisley - Frog at 2 1/2"
Give A Hoot - Lilly Pad at 2"
A Childs Year - Title at 1"

I use all scraps on this card, except for the card itself. Those are the cards you purchase at Michael's or Joann's buy bulk.

Hope you like it.

Here is the inside of the card with the rest of the title/saying.

Sunday Fright is finally at an end.

Well I finally got someone to call me back. The only one who called me back in fact. So if you need someone for a Rattle Snake problem google Ramirez Rattle Snake Removal. He is not far from me, but he goes all over. He has even been on the TV.

Well I sent him a photo via email, due to the fact that he is currently a way on a job. He was working today which is so great. Oh, here is a copy of the pic I email him.

Now I am not someone who is fond of snakes or who would even want to be around them in the first place. But Len Ramirez was so sweet. He told me that it wasn't a dangerous snake. He said it looked like a Gopher snake, which is very common around my area. Yes, it is a big one, and the bite will hurt, but it won't kill anyone. So I am finally feeling like I can relax, in fact I feel exhausted at this point. Talk about a wake up call. Mr. Ramirez told me that it would be an excellent idea to learn about the snakes that are in my area. He says that this time it wasn't a Rattle snake, but next time I might not be that lucky.

Well, thank you all for listening to the ramblings of a crazy woman. lol

Maybe tomorrow I will be able to do some of the NSD challenges that where posted on Saturday. I am sure going to try.

Goodnight and God Bless you all.

A very scary Sunday

Hi everyone, hope you all are having a fantastic Sunday. Mine has been very frightening. I got up and took my dog out to do his business when something jumped at him. I couldn't see it to well, do in fact to it being 6am in the morning and still partially dark outside. But DH got up and looked all around the area where it happened and found nothing. The funny thing is my dog refused to go to that part of the yard again. Well at about 8am before leaving for church, I decide to take my dog out again to try and get him to do his business. Still wouldn't go to that area of the yard. Well while I was waiting, I started picking up leaves that had blown on to my porch and then proceeded to go around and put them into the green waste container. Well I saw something on the ground that I thought was more crumpled up leaves. Well it wasn't. It was some kind of Reptile skin. Well, I am freaking out thinking what to I have in my backyard. Took the skin in to DH and neither he or I could tell what type of reptile it was from. Well I live across the street from Maidu Park and 3 houses down from Cirby Creek and a very woody area. So I call the Placer County SPCA and ask what should I do. They told me to call Roseville Animal Control. So I call Roseville Animal Control, and they say that they couldn't tell what type of reptile that it came from and to call a Rattle Snake Removal Company to help me. Well that put me into a true panic. So I have several calls in to several different companies, Only one has called me back and I have emailed him a picture to see if he can tell me that it is not a Rattle Snake. Unfortunately he is out on a job and won't be back for several hours to check his email. I am not even able to sit down for being so worried about this. I am putting the picture on here to show you what has gotten me so upset.

I mean I know that it is a very small piece, but I am still really upset that we might have baby rattlers and a momma close by. I am sure that people probably think I am crazy, but I have watched a friend get struck by an Eastern Diamond Back Rattler and he was lucky enough that we were able to get him to a hospital in less than 20 minutes. It is not a good thing to watch and my friend was very sick for along time and could have died. The worst was this was on his Mom's and Dad's property only about 50 yards from the house. So maybe you can understand why I am in a little bit of a panic with a 9 year old DD and 2 small furry children as well. Anyways, I am going to go and lay down and try to get my emotions under control.
