Announcing the Winner of the Flowers, Flowers Everywhere Blog Hop

Well, my little one finally got to draw the winner today. YEAH!!!! I won't leave you hanging as I usually like to do. It has been a really tough 2 weeks. My allergies have really just kicked me down, to the point seeing to type if sometimes impossible. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks the pollens in the air will disappear so my life will somewhat become normal again. I am tired of all the medications that I am now having to take to be able to even see to drive or use my computer.

Well enough about me. Let get to the winner:

"Very cute layout. I am really going to enjoy doing this hop. TFS"

By Penny on Flowers, Flowers Everywhere Blog Hop Day 1 on 5/8/11

So if Penny could please get intouch with me that would be great. Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments. I am happy that you liked my layouts. Have a wonderfully blessed week.

Flowers, Flowers Everywhere Blog Hop Day 1

Welcome everyone to the "Flowers, Flowers Everywhere" blog hop day 1. This hop has a great line-up with some very crafty and creative ladies. This is a 2 day hop with a slightly different line-up for more projects to see. You are currently at the beginning of this hop, so you are in the right spot to begin your creative journey.

I will be offering a brand new in package Cricut Sentimentals Cartridge as blog candy. To be in the drawing you will need to:

That person will have until Thursday night to reply to the post. If no reply by that time, the runner up will be the new winner.

Well enough of all the chit chat and down to my project:

How does your Garden Grow?

This is to hold a picture of my little one planting our new flowers that will have for her special garden.

This is a close up of the Bird House and the flowers on the fence post.

Instructions:

Cartridges Used:

Bloom
Botanicals

Papers Used:

CTMH - Robin Egg Blue
Misc. Scraps for everything else

Supplies Used:

Design Studio
ATG & Tape
Dimensionals
Versa Magic Chalk Ink - Sahara Sand

Cricut Cuts:

Bloom:

Title - "How does your garden grow?" - 2 1/2 inches

Botanicals:

Bird House - 5 1/2 inches
Gate - 3 inches
Fence - 3 inches

Directions:

Bird House: The bird house was cut twice using Design Studio. One of the houses was flipped. Since there are not pieces for this cut, I had to cut it 6 times each to get all the colors. Then cut each of the colors up using only the pieces I needed to have the colors I wanted. Then I chalked the edges.

Fence: The fence was cut 4 time using Design Studio. Two of the cuts were flipped and welded to make one long piece for each side of the gate. These were popped up with Dimensional and inked.

Hope you liked my project and I do love to hear all of your feed back. So continue on your journey to One by One the Flamingo's are Stealing my Sanity. If you get lost along the way, please come back here and the full list is below.
