La Belle Layout #3

Happy Thursday to you all.

I can't believe the week is almost over. WOW!!! I am in the process of getting ready for my Paper Crafters Garage Sale this Friday night and Saturday morning. I have tons and tons of Scrapbooking, Stamping and other Crafty items that I need to clear out of my house. I have over 5 Large Milk Crates full of Pattern Paper and some Card Stock. There is a Full size Epson Photo Printer, a Mini HP Photo Printer with 5 NP ink cartridges included. Also an ECraft Die Cutting Machine with Cartridges. Oh and tons and tons of other embellishments, Stamp Sets, individual Stamps, Pearl Pens, Glitter Tubes, Ribbon and lots more. So very busy getting everything out of the house and into the Garage for tomorrow at 5pm when my door opens. LOL

Well enough of all my chatter and one with the the important stuff.

Today is Layout #3 of a Series of 6 layouts that I am posting this week. The layouts are using the CTMH Pattern Paper pack La Belle. I adore this paper and I still have one set left that I am secretly hiding away for a raining day. I did use one thing that was not CTMH to this layout. The flowers are from the Pansy Punch from Stampin' Up. All other items for embellishments came from the La Belle Stickease pack or from one of the 3 CTMH exclusive Cricut Cartridges (ie: Art Philosophy, Artist, and Artbooking). If you are interested in any of these cartridges, please feel free to go to my website to see them in more detail or order if you would like to own them. Click on this link to reach my website: Creations With Kathryn's CTMH Website

Well I am 1/2 way done with the series of 6 layouts for the La Belle paper pack. I will have to see Sunday when I have a breather what will be my next pull from stash projects.

I hope you have enjoyed my layouts and that you will join in tomorrow for the next in the series.

Hope that your Friday is a bright one,

Kathryn

La Belle Layout #2

Good morning to all you fine crafters,

Sorry this didn't get posted last night as it was suppose to. Had some internet problems and couldn't get on. So before heading to work this morning I thought I would try again, and wow, I am on the internet. LOL

Today is layout #2 in a series of 6 layouts using the La Belle Paper Pack by CTMH. I truly do love this paper pack as it is so good for so many different types of layouts. It is to bad that it is retired as I only have one pack left to play with and have so many different ideas I want to do with it. Oh well I guess it is time to fine a new favorite.

This layout is a very simple and clean layout, with a pocket to hold a picture or more Journaling. Not to many embellishments on this layout as I used a Martha Stewart Punch for some of the borders I put on it.

I hope you liked my layout for today and please don't forget to come back tomorrow to see the next one in the La Belle Series of 6 Layouts.

La Belle Layout 1

Happy Tuesday to all you,

Hope that the beginning of your week is going really well. Mine is crazy, but good. Everyday I get closer and closer to meeting my sweet Granddaughter. That makes everyday a bit better than the day before. Though I am blessed already.

On with the showing. Today is the first in a series of 6 layouts that I will be featuring here on my blog. All 6 of the layouts will be using the CTMH La Belle Paper Pack. This is by far one of my favorite paper packs that CTMH has offered. Sorry to say it is retired, but I still have a few sheets stowed away for a special day. I know I am a horrible hoarder of paper. LOL

Happy Late St. Patricks Day

Hope you all had a wonderfully GREEN day today. The weather here in Central California was fantastic. I know we need the rain really badly here, but it was so nice to go outside and be in a short sleeve dress and not need a jacket.

Well we made it through the weekend and Monday. YEAH!!!! Now we only have 4 more days till the weekend.

For any of you that don't know, my oldest is expecting a baby girl on April 18th. Well I am on official count down as of tomorrow as it is one month till I will be a Grandmother for the very first time. I feel like a kid at Christmas waiting to open the gifts that have been under the tree for weeks. LOL I know it sounds crazy, but it is so thrilling and exciting for me. So forgive me if I go on a bit and get a little crazy, but this old lady is to overwhelmed with joy.

Well enough about me, I wanted to let you know that starting again tomorrow I will be posting a layout a day for the next 6 days. It will post here tomorrow evening and there will be a new one each following evening. So please hop over here and take a look at my new creations. These layout will be featuring from my stash, the CTMH La Belle paper pack. Yes this line is retired, but I have a few sheets left to play with as this is one of my favorite paper packs. This year for me is to try to use as much of my old stash as possible. Yes, I am taking idea and lifting them from others, but I am adding my own personality to them as well.

So I hope to have you hope over and see what is coming.

Have a blessed week,

Kathryn

Baby Shower Invite, Shower Gift w/ Tag and Banner

Good Day to you all,

Today I have a post of the items that I made for my Daughters baby shower. In about 4 weeks I will be a Grandmother to a beautiful baby girl. I am so looking forward to seeing her up close.

Here is a 4D image of her back on the 21st of February. She has chunky cheeks and is so adorable.

Well for my daughters baby shower she wanted the Minnie Mouse Icon Head, so for the invites this is what I came up with. I used Stampin Up's Pretty in Pink (retired) for the base of the card and CTMH's Basic Black for the Icon Head. The Bow was done with some Reflections paper purchased at Michaels. The Icon Head and the bow were cut using the Mickey and Friends Cricut Cartridge. The Scalloped Circle and the Circle are from punches by Stampin Up. The Stamped "R" was a stamp from CTMH's Monogram's (retired).

The favors are Loofa's that are on a stick that was wrapped in Washi Tape and ribbon mixed to tie a bow.

I followed the same idea from the invite over to the Favor Tags. Just cutting a different bow from the Mickey and Friends Cricut Cartridge for the bow.

The banner I followed mostly the same as the invite, but used the Stampin Up Die for the Rosette's  under each of the letters. The Letters are from Kate's ABC Cricut Cartridge.

Well this is my post for today, I do hope you liked the items I made for the shower. Please feel free to leave me a comment as I love to hear what you all think.

God Bless,

Kathryn

Roxy Layouts

Hello and good morning to you all,

It is Thursday and only 1 more day till the weekend. YEAH!!! I love my weekends when they are full of nothing to do but craft (well except for the chores that I always have to do).

Today I am featuring the Roxy paper pack from CTMH. These were also scrap lifted with a twist.  Again I only had a partial paper pack left, so I only got 2 layouts out of the 4 I wanted to do. I am crossing my fingers that a friend of mine will do a swap for her Roxy paper pack for one that I have. I do have some more stuff that I am wanting to add to these 2 layouts, but I have to wait till I place my next order with CTMH to get those items.

Any who, on with my layouts for today.

Layout #1:

Layout #2:

As I am sure you can tell I am missing a bunch of the embellishments that I usually add to my layouts. I will be ordering soon and I will try to post an update of what they look like when I am totally finished with them.

Well enjoy the rest of your Thursday and I hope to see you tomorrow for my next post in the series of using my stash and scrap lifting to get things done. God Bless and keep you all,

Kathryn

Typeset Layout

Good morning to you all,

Hope that this day is starting off well being that it is the hump in our week. Today I only have one layout to share, as I used up scraps of the Typeset paper pack from CTMH. I am not totally happy with the layout being that it is off in the way it lines up, but I used pieces I had and didn't really pay attention to the sizes when I put them together. Well I guess creative licensing is what I would call it. LOL

This layout I will be using for my youngest daughters school pics, not sure which year yet as I need to figure which pictures will look the best.

So enough and here is the layout.

Hope you liked and would love to here what you think. Hope to have you hop on by tomorrow to see my next lifting project with a twist. God Bless you all,

Kathryn

Pemberly Layouts

Good Day to all,

Hope that your Tuesday is going well. This is my 3rd post in a series of post on my February Stash usage and Scrap Lifting with my own twist.

Today I have the Pemberly paper pack from CTMH. One of this layouts caused me a bit of trouble to reproduce the background paper, but after several try's I finally got it. So just to let you know I would have gotten more done in February if it wasn't for Layout #3 and figuring out the technique that was used and the size of the Butterflies used.

Well enough about how long it took me to figure it out. So here are the layouts.

So I have been doing tons of Scrap lifting and adding a bit of my touch to it. I did 32 pages in the last 2 weeks of February, so I have gotten through a small bit of my stashes of paper.

Winner of Love Struck Blog Candy

Hello and good Tuesday to you all,

First and most important, thank you so much for hopping along in this hop and leaving me a comment. Your comments are greatly appreciated, especially since everyone's lives are so very busy and to take the time is really very sweet. I enjoyed each and everyone of your comments. I also enjoyed seeing the fantastic work done by all the participants in the hop. A big thank you for Lissa for hosting it and Zenita for the help she gave me getting my post up and running.

I waited until today to do the drawing for the Blog Candy, giving those people who work on Sunday to have a chance to win. Well this morning my teenage daughter pulled a name out of a paper bag. She was a bit grumpy at 6am, but it is a school day and well she is grumpy most mornings she has to get up.

So without further hesitation, the winner is:

I love all the colors and the bling! I just became a new follower though e-mail.

So if you will please email me your address to creationswithkathryn@yahoo.com, I will get this in the mail to you.

I truly look forward to the next hop and seeing all the wonder comments and also the creations of the other participants.

God Bless each one of you,

Kathryn

PS: if you would like to order any Stampin' Up products, my daughter is a consultant and her site is http://creationswithkathryn.stampinup.net.

Love Struck Blog Hop

loveStruck
Are you Love Struck by someone that you never thought would enter your life, you boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, son or daughter? Maybe even your pet!
Well here we are again for another Krazy Crafting Crew blog hop, Lissa Marie at "So Many Crafts, So Little time" will be your host today if you would like to start there, but since you are here... let's have some fun!
If you have never hopped before it is fun and inspiring, grab your favorite drink and stay awhile for these inspirational valentine projects that are linked one after another. Lissa Marie has provided a layout sketch and a card sketch for the team to go with, and have them show you their take on how they will interprate this piece of art. We only have to do one or the other. Stick around for the blog candy that Lissa is giving away for those who have hopped by. Here is the sketches courtousy to Google on the layout and a sketch Lissa reinterpretated the scraplift from card she saw on Google.. oh yes, she is a scraplifter!

layoutsketch
cardSketch

Here is my take of the layout sketch that was provided. Now this isn't my regular style, as I put way more bling than I would have normally.

I know I kinda changed the makeup of the sketch a tiny bit, but I wanted 2 large photos for this layout. I just can't seem to leave things as they are suppose to be. I used Stampin' Up paper pack "More Amore" it is a retired line, but I do love the papers. I used Real Red CS for the background with Pool Party, Pretty in Pink (retired), Primrose Petal, Very Vanilla CS. Used Large Pearls that are also Stampin' Up. I did use a bunch of gems and brads that I had in my stash of stuff that I was going to get rid of.

This is the header of the layout and I used pink and pewter heart brad and heart gems for the banners using the White Bakers Twine from Stampin' Up.

The Title is a Thinlit from Stampin' UP. I thought that this simple title was best for this busy layout.

These extra words are framelits from Stampin' Up and I do think they are so cute. Yes these are to be used with cards, but I love to try and combine my tools and supplies.

These 3 hearts are what I am using as Journal spots for this layout. I am figuring that the pictures will tell my story, so I only need basic info in my journaling with this layout.

I am giving away a brand new stamp set called "That's the Ticket" from Stampin' Up. To be in the drawing for this you need to follow my blog and leave me a comment on what you think of my take on the sketch. (this is a new stamp clear mount stamp set never opened)

Hope you have a blessed Sunday and to continue on the hop please go to Zenita blog.
