Summer Mini Album Kit

Hello and a happy ay to you all,

Well my August Mini "Buzz & Bumble" Album went so well that I only have 3 of the 20 kits with instructions left. WOW, that is wonderful. Because they went so fast, I decided that I would do another one with different papers and embellishments. This is still a 5" x 7" Pocket Mini Album, and I will be teaching a class this month as well. I really do love the papers that I used in this album,  it reminds me Summer Fun. The album consist of the "Surf's Up" papers and stamp collection from Close to My Heart (CTMH). I also included 2 buttons from my stash that are colored with Copic Markers.

Here is the front of the Album:

On this album, I added a belly band as a closure.

Inside of the album.

Two large photo mats, one on each side.

These photo mats will fit a 4x6 photo.

Using stamps to decorate the Large and Medium Tags.

The other side of the Large and Medium Tags.

Photo/Journaling Tags in a Small and X-Small size.
Decorated only on one side, so you can put a small photo on other side.

This class is $20 and my schedule will be on Meet Up tonight. If you would like to just purchase the kit, the price is $20 plus postage (which will be USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail), US customers only.

Hello to all you wonderful crafters,

The day is going really well and I am finishing up on some many of my "To Do List" items. That is a really wonderful thing for me, as I never get to the end of a list. LOL Pretty sad I know, but every dang time I turn around there are several more things that have been added to my list. Well the good thing is today, I got to finish getting my post done for my Blog. YEAH!!!!

Well on to the fun stuff. This is a 5" x 7" Pocket Mini that I made for my August Class #2 Mini Albums. I love the papers that were used in this album, cause it reminds me both of Spring time and Fall. The album consist of the "Buzz & Bumble" paper and embellishment collections from Close to My Heart (CTMH). I also included "Backyard Basics" stamp set and framelit from Stampin' Up (SU) as well as 2 buttons from my stash.

Here is the front of the Album:

Here is the inside of the Album:

This album has 3 pockets on the right side and 4 pockets on the left side. On the right side, there are 2 side/top open pockets that hold a large and medium tag. The 3rd pocket on the right holds a large photo mat style tag and opens to one side. On the lefts side, there are 3 top load pockets with 2 small tags in each (a total of 6 small tags), with a stamp bee as the pull tab. The 4th  pocket on the left holds another large photo mat style tag and opens to one side.

Well hope you all liked this Mini, I would love to here your comments on what you think.

Pictures of the Mini Album Class #1 for August

Hello and hope your week is going well. Mine is going great!!! I found out a couple of weeks ago that I am going to be a Grandmother for the 1st time in April 2014. I am tickled pink or blue, not sure which yet, but it is such a wonderful thought. I actually thought I would dread the day I would be called Grandma, Nana, or any of the other nicknames that are used. LOL I am so looking forward to spoiling that baby to the ends of the earth.

Ok enough, I need to come back to now not the future. So I had 2 classes for my Mini Albums this month. The first one was 3 different wallet size mini's using Close To My Heart (CTMH) "Surf's Up" papers and embellishments, and stamp sets D1538 "Bright Sunshiny Day" and C1544 "Surf's Up" from the WSOTG (Workshop on the Go). They turned out so cute and everyone loved them. Here are some pictures of each of them.

Album #1 - Simple Fold Mini

Album #2 - Wallet Style Mini

Album #3 - File Folder Mini

Well I hope you enjoyed my pictures of the 3 mini albums that were in my Class #1. I will have the other Album in another post today.

August Card Class

Hello to all you Cardmakers and Scrapbookers,

Just a quick look at the cards that were my August 2013 card class. All products used are from Stampin' Up.

This first card is my favorite. I love the owl punch and how you can change is colors. He is just to cute. This card is an A2 size card, so no extra postage.

I decide to add an Owl and Branch to have the card flow to the inside.

This card is also an A2 size card that uses several of the SU punches and a Edgelit from the Finishing Touches Edgelits collection. I did color the 3 pearls on the card with my Copic markers to bring in the green and used 1/8" ribbon from my stash.

I pull over the front to the inside using the Boho Blossoms punch.

This card fits into an A2 size envelope perfectly. I know that it has a special name, but I call it a Gift Card Holder Card. I used the Blossom punch and 1 1/4" Scallop Circle punch.

The inside has a nice area to write a hand greeting or you can stamp one if you would like. I left off the sentiment, cause wasn't sure what people wanted to say.

Well hope you all liked my cards, I will have another post showing 3 wallet size mini albums and 1 Pocket mini later today.

Hope your week is blessed with good happenings. Till next time,

Kathryn

Wedding is over.....

Well the wedding is finally over and family have all gone back home and my home is my own again. The only sad thing is that my Mother in Law got sick and it made things these last couple of weeks a bit stressful, but she is better now. Thanks be to God.

I have been MIA, cause of family being here from out of town, and also did take time out for hubby and I to re-do our Vows. We thought after 27 years that it was time to re-confirm our commitment to each other. Next one is to be on our 50th, and with a blessing from Above it will happen and be on our 50th Anniversary.

I have tons of classes and projects coming up here starting next week. Four card classes, a Retreat and a 2 day crop all in this month. Wow talk about over load. LOL I have tons of new ideas for cards and layouts that I will be starting to post here starting May 1st. There will be card and scrapbooking kits for sale, classes for cards and scrapbooking, a beginning Cricut class and Copic Marker class (these are to give people the knowledge of the products and why they are worth the monies for them to spend or not. Also for those who have a Cricut and Copic Markers to learn the basics and the maintenance for them.

Also starting after the 15th of June through the end of July, I will be having an open class on certain days during this time so anyone interested in a class will be able to call me an set up a one on one class or a class with just them and their friends. I can't wait for these as I think this will open the doors for those people who have so little time to be able to take a class.

One more thing, if any of you have suggestions of things that you would like to see or be discussed regarding Scrapbooking, Cardmaking, Mini Albums or anything that is Paper Craft related, I would love to hear them.

Thank you and God Bless you all,

Kathryn

Wedding - So Busy

Hello all,

I hope that everyone is having a very blessed Easter Break. I am taking 5 minutes out of my day to post this, so everyone know that I am so busy. My oldest is to be married this Easter Sunday and there is so much to do and getting ready for all the family that will be showing up here. So I will not be posting anything until after the 7th of April as I have so much to do and so much family that will be here. But starting after that I will be posting the up coming crops, classes and other fun things that will be happening here at Creations With Kathryn and here at my home and other places.

To end this, here is my beautiful Daughter and her husband to be in one of thier engagement photos.

Please say a prayer for good weather, cause as of right now it will be raining and she picked such a beautiful place I would love to see us having that outside wedding.

Thank you all and may your Easter be blessed with nothing but love and kindness.

Your Friend,

Kathryn
