Welcome to our “All About Frames Blog Hop”

Brought to you by our Krazy Crafting Crew. We are an independent hop team that enjoys sharing out work with everyone and hope to inspire you with new ideas for you own creativity. We are a team who loves to do all different themes, such as cards, layouts, 3D projects and so much more. We do all the paper crafting from traditional to digital. Mostly traditional, every now and then there may be a little mixed media too!
If you arrived here from Christina you are in the right place. Now on to some more fun.

For today's hop project I have made a card for my Granddaughter, who should be here at anytime now. I am so very excited to meet her, that this card has a little story of how impatient her Grandmother is for her arrival. I know that this will sit in her scrapbook waiting for the day that I give it to her. Well enough of me and my major problem of waiting. LOL

Happy Thursday to you all.

I can't believe the week is almost over. WOW!!! I am in the process of getting ready for my Paper Crafters Garage Sale this Friday night and Saturday morning. I have tons and tons of Scrapbooking, Stamping and other Crafty items that I need to clear out of my house. I have over 5 Large Milk Crates full of Pattern Paper and some Card Stock. There is a Full size Epson Photo Printer, a Mini HP Photo Printer with 5 NP ink cartridges included. Also an ECraft Die Cutting Machine with Cartridges. Oh and tons and tons of other embellishments, Stamp Sets, individual Stamps, Pearl Pens, Glitter Tubes, Ribbon and lots more. So very busy getting everything out of the house and into the Garage for tomorrow at 5pm when my door opens. LOL

Well enough of all my chatter and one with the the important stuff.

Today is Layout #3 of a Series of 6 layouts that I am posting this week. The layouts are using the CTMH Pattern Paper pack La Belle. I adore this paper and I still have one set left that I am secretly hiding away for a raining day. I did use one thing that was not CTMH to this layout. The flowers are from the Pansy Punch from Stampin' Up. All other items for embellishments came from the La Belle Stickease pack or from one of the 3 CTMH exclusive Cricut Cartridges (ie: Art Philosophy, Artist, and Artbooking). If you are interested in any of these cartridges, please feel free to go to my website to see them in more detail or order if you would like to own them. Good morning to all you fine crafters,

Sorry this didn't get posted last night as it was suppose to. Had some internet problems and couldn't get on. So before heading to work this morning I thought I would try again, and wow, I am on the internet. LOL

Today is layout #2 in a series of 6 layouts using the La Belle Paper Pack by CTMH. I truly do love this paper pack as it is so good for so many different types of layouts. It is to bad that it is retired as I only have one pack left to play with and have so many different ideas I want to do with it. Oh well I guess it is time to fine a new favorite.

This layout is a very simple and clean layout, with a pocket to hold a picture or more Journaling. Not to many embellishments on this layout as I used a Martha Stewart Punch for some of the borders I put on it.
Happy Tuesday to all you,

Hope that the beginning of your week is going really well. Mine is crazy, but good. Everyday I get closer and closer to meeting my sweet Granddaughter. That makes everyday a bit better than the day before. Though I am blessed already.

On with the showing. Today is the first in a series of 6 layouts that I will be featuring here on my blog. All 6 of the layouts will be using the CTMH La Belle Paper Pack. This is by far one of my favorite paper packs that CTMH has offered. Sorry to say it is retired, but I still have a few sheets stowed away for a special day. I know I am a horrible hoarder of paper. LOL
Hope you all had a wonderfully GREEN day today. The weather here in Central California was fantastic. I know we need the rain really badly here, but it was so nice to go outside and be in a short sleeve dress and not need a jacket.

Well we made it through the weekend and Monday. YEAH!!!! Now we only have 4 more days till the weekend.

For any of you that don't know, my oldest is expecting a baby girl on April 18th. Well I am on official count down as of tomorrow as it is one month till I will be a Grandmother for the very first time. I feel like a kid at Christmas waiting to open the gifts that have been under the tree for weeks. LOL I know it sounds crazy, but it is so thrilling and exciting for me. So forgive me if I go on a bit and get a little crazy, but this old lady is to overwhelmed with joy.

Well enough about me, I wanted to let you know that starting again tomorrow I will be posting a layout a day for the next 6 days. It will post here tomorrow evening and there will be a new one each following evening. So please hop over here and take a look at my new creations. These layout will be featuring from my stash, the CTMH La Belle paper pack. Yes this line is retired, but I have a few sheets left to play with as this is one of my favorite paper packs. This year for me is to try to use as much of my old stash as possible. Yes, I am taking idea and lifting them from others, but I am adding my own personality to them as well.

So I hope to have you hope over and see what is coming.

Have a blessed week,
Good Day to you all,

Today I have a post of the items that I made for my Daughters baby shower. In about 4 weeks I will be a Grandmother to a beautiful baby girl. I am so looking forward to seeing her up close.

Here is a 4D image of her back on the 21st of February. She has chunky cheeks and is so adorable.

Well for my daughters baby shower she wanted the Minnie Mouse Icon Head, so for the invites this is what I came up with. I used Stampin Up's Pretty in Pink (retired) for the base of the card and CTMH's Basic Black for the Icon Head. The Bow was done with some Reflections paper purchased at Michaels. The Icon Head and the bow were cut using the Mickey and Friends Cricut Cartridge. The Scalloped Circle and the Circle are from punches by Stampin Up. The Stamped "R" was a stamp from CTMH's Monogram's (retired).

Hello and good morning to you all,

It is Thursday and only 1 more day till the weekend. YEAH!!! I love my weekends when they are full of nothing to do but craft (well except for the chores that I always have to do).

Today I am featuring the Roxy paper pack from CTMH. These were also scrap lifted with a twist. Again I only had a partial paper pack left, so I only got 2 layouts out of the 4 I wanted to do. I am crossing my fingers that a friend of mine will do a swap for her Roxy paper pack for one that I have. I do have some more stuff that I am wanting to add to these 2 layouts, but I have to wait till I place my next order with CTMH to get those items.

Any who, on with my layouts for today.

Layout #1:

As I am sure you can tell I am missing a bunch of the embellishments that I usually add to my layouts. I will be ordering soon and I will try to post an update of what they look like when I am totally finished with them.

Well enjoy the rest of your Thursday and I hope to see you tomorrow for my next post in the series of using my stash and scrap lifting to get things done. God Bless and keep you all,
Good morning to you all,

Hope that this day is starting off well being that it is the hump in our week. Today I only have one layout to share, as I used up scraps of the Typeset paper pack from CTMH. I am not totally happy with the layout being that it is off in the way it lines up, but I used pieces I had and didn't really pay attention to the sizes when I put them together. Well I guess creative licensing is what I would call it. LOL

This layout I will be using for my youngest daughters school pics, not sure which year yet as I need to figure which pictures will look the best.

So enough and here is the layout.
Good Day to all,

Hope that your Tuesday is going well. This is my 3rd post in a series of post on my February Stash usage and Scrap Lifting with my own twist.

Today I have the Pemberly paper pack from CTMH. One of this layouts caused me a bit of trouble to reproduce the background paper, but after several try's I finally got it. So just to let you know I would have gotten more done in February if it wasn't for Layout #3 and figuring out the technique that was used and the size of the Butterflies used.
Well enough about how long it took me to figure it out. So here are the layouts.
Well I have been busy over the month of February. With getting things
done for my Daughters baby shower and trying to go through and use some
of my paper stashes. So I have been doing tons of Scrap lifting and
adding a bit of my touch to it. I did 32 pages in the last 2 weeks of
February, so I have gotten through a small bit of my stashes of paper.

Today I am focusing on the Clementine paper pack from CTMH.
Hello and good Tuesday to you all,

First and most important, thank you so much for hopping along in this hop and leaving me a comment. Your comments are greatly appreciated, especially since everyone's lives are so very busy and to take the time is really very sweet. I enjoyed each and everyone of your comments. I also enjoyed seeing the fantastic work done by all the participants in the hop. A big thank you for Lissa for hosting it and Zenita for the help she gave me getting my post up and running.

I waited until today to do the drawing for the Blog Candy, giving those people who work on Sunday to have a chance to win. Well this morning my teenage daughter pulled a name out of a paper bag. She was a bit grumpy at 6am, but it is a school day and well she is grumpy most mornings she has to get up.

So without further hesitation, the winner is:

Are you Love Struck by someone that you never thought would enter your life, you boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, son or daughter? Maybe even your pet!

Well here we are again for another Krazy Crafting Crew blog hop, Lissa Marie at "So Many Crafts, So Little time" will be your host today if you would like to start there, but since you are here... let's have some fun!

If you have never hopped before it is fun and inspiring, grab your favorite drink and stay awhile for these inspirational valentine projects that are linked one after another. Lissa Marie has provided a layout sketch and a card sketch for the team to go with, and have them show you their take on how they will interprate this piece of art. We only have to do one or the other. Stick around for the blog candy that Lissa is giving away for those who have hopped by. Here is the sketches courtousy to Google on the layout and a sketch Lissa reinterpretated the scraplift from card she saw on Google.. oh yes, she is a scraplifter!

Here is my take of the layout sketch that was provided. Now this isn't my regular style, as I put way more bling than I would have normally.

I know I kinda changed the makeup of the sketch a tiny bit, but I wanted 2 large photos for this layout. I just can't seem to leave things as they are suppose to be. I used Stampin' Up paper pack "More Amore" it is a retired line, but I do love the papers. I used Real Red CS for the background with Pool Party, Pretty in Pink (retired), Primrose Petal, Very Vanilla CS. Used Large Pearls that are also Stampin' Up. I did use a bunch of gems and brads that I had in my stash of stuff that I was going to get rid of.

This is the header of the layout and I used pink and pewter heart brad and heart gems for the banners using the White Bakers Twine from Stampin' Up.

The Title is a Thinlit from Stampin' UP. I thought that this simple title was best for this busy layout.

These extra words are framelits from Stampin' Up and I do think they are so cute. Yes these are to be used with cards, but I love to try and combine my tools and supplies.

These 3 hearts are what I am using as Journal spots for this layout. I am figuring that the pictures will tell my story, so I only need basic info in my journaling with this layout.

I am giving away a brand new stamp set called "That's the Ticket" from Stampin' Up. To be in the drawing for this you need to follow my blog and leave me a comment on what you think of my take on the sketch. (this is a new stamp clear mount stamp set never opened)
Hello to all you Stampers/Crafters,

Hope you all are having a wonderful January. Can't
believe it is already the 18th. The year is already moving way, way to fast for me. Plus I would like some rain, but that might be asking a bit much at this time.

Well today I have pictures of the last 3 of the 6 cards that was made today in my
January Stamp-A-Stack class. We made Sympathy and Get
Well cards. (please excuse the photo's, the photographer (me) is really horrible at taking pictures)

This first card was one that can be used as a masculine card or to anyone. The images on this card are from 2 different stamp sets (By the Tide and By the Seashore) and the saying from even another. On this card I used one of the SU Framelit Windows Collection to make the card and the layers. I love mixing Crumb Cake ink and the Baked Brown Sugar ink in my image stamping, I think it added a bit of pop to the card. This card
is so interchangeable with the sentiments, the papers and the
embellishments that could be used.

This 2nd card is one of my favorites due to the Bravo Burgundy color (which unfortunately has been retired now). With this card we used Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder, Circle Framelit, and the Chalk Talk Framelit. I also added a bit of the Gumball Green for the stems on the flowers from the Too Kind stamp set. The button and Sycamore Street Design Paper are also retired, but love to use what I have and not let it go to waste.

This 3rd card looks like it would be so easy, and it would have been if the Delicate Dollies Die cut the Dollies fully. There was a bunch of poking out of the die-cut pieces, but I think in the long run it was worth it. The card stock is Pool Party and the Design Paper is Sycamore Street and is retired. The stamp is Serene Silhouettes with tiny little gems on some of the flowers.

Hello to all you Stampers/Crafters,

Hope you all are having a wonderful beginning to your New Year. Can't believe it is already the 8th. The year is already moving way to fast.

Well today I have pictures of 3 of the 6 cards will will be making in my January Stamp-A-Stack class. We are going to be making Sympathy and Get Well cards. (please excuse the photo's, the photographer (me) isn't very good)

This first card is really one of my favorites. The wreath image may not look familiar, as it's just one small small one from a large stamp set. Trying to look outside the norm for the use of stamps in a set. This is something that will be an eye opener for my attendants at the class. It is so interchangeable with the sentiments, the papers and the embellishment you could use. This card is an odd size, so the attendants of the class will be playing with the envelope make to make an envelope to hold this card.

Card #2 is a really clean, simple, but elegant card at the same time. I love that I can change the color of the papers and have a different look. Also being able to use different embellishment is also a big plus. This card the attendants will be playing with the Big Shot, Dies, and Framelits.

On this 3rd card, it has a calming feel to it, you could very simply change that to a cheerful feeling by switching your colors and greeting. The flower image may not look familiar, as it's just a small portion
of a larger stamp. The stamping
trick of "selective stamping" is one I don't consider using much, but it does have an impact and another new outlook to how to use a stamp set. Using a set of blue monochromatic colors I believe made this card feel calming/soothing.

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday,

Sorry didn't get on yesterday to post, but it was so very busy around here. We are having beautiful weather, but I really wish we would get the rain we need. I can stand the thought of going through a water restriction year (I have a pool, so I always have to pay when there is water restrictions).

Well enough of that and lets get on with the good stuff. LOL I was really proud of myself this past Sunday. I was sitting in my craftroom not able to mustard up any creative juices. We I started going through some of my older papers scraps (left overs from CTMH paper packs). When I found 4 sheet of Scholastic paper and 1 sheet of the Superhero paper. The Scholastic were easy to figure what I was going to make with them, but the Superhero 1 sheet, well lets just say I was looking at it going "I think it will go into the Garage Sale I am having in March. So started on the Scholastic and from out of the blue I remembered someone doing a western theme layout using that same paper. I wish I could remember who it was, but that was before Pintrest.

Well here is the Super Hero layout I came up with: YeeHaw - Wanted

Not to bad, for a throw together. LOL I did add some buttons, 1 designer brad and some twine. The Die Cuts are all from my vast Cricut Cartridge Library.

Now on to the Layouts that are a different spin from some I have seen on the Pintrest and FB a different take on some of the same types of Layouts..

So there are the 2 -2 page Layouts I made using the Scholastic Paper Pack. I also added some brads, and buttons from a Mini-Melody set and some Bo Bunny brads from my old scrap supplies. The Die Cuts are from the Artist and Artbooking Cricut Cartridges. Some of the Die Cut coordinate with CTMH stamp set C1521 - Approved.

Here is the 1st one I did called: First Day - Ready, Set, Go.
Well, I hope you enjoyed my layouts that I cased from others and added my own twist. They are simple layouts with the papers, but become good when you add the embellishment, titles and accessories.
Hope you all have a blessed week.

Happy New Year...holy cow it is 2014!!!

Let's all have a great year together and I hope that each and
everyone of you finds time for peace, joy and a lots of laughter in your lives! I know...we all get so very stressed (and I am guilty
too) about things (even the very small things) that really do not make a difference in what is truly important, The Big Picture of Life...so let's try to start with being understanding, patient and kind to
ourselves and others in our life!

Today is a new type of post for me and I pray a start of something really great in following through on my Goal #6 for this year. Today I want to focus on some
randomly pick favorite products of mine that we have at Stampin' Up!
and give you the "why's and what's" I love them so much as well as some "ideas, tips and
tricks" that I have found with them!

Now these products are not in any particular order of what is first on my preference list
- they are just what I see around my work area that are at arms length of my work station. Read to the end as you will see that I am going to do 3
of these posts over the next 3 weeks and you will have the opportunity to
win some blog candy!
I purposely did not put in any specific stamp sets...solid
papers....or the Big Shot...as these to me are the bread
& butter to Stampin Up's fabulous collection of products!

Stampin Trimmer - this is simply the BEST
on the market! I know when
it came out, I as well as many of my customers said - "I already have a trimmer, why
would I want another one...." Well - by the next month - I ordered
it! Why do I love it so much....very easy!

The size - I love the fact that it is so portable and that you can make 12" cuts...you can SCORE with it - that in itself is a HUGE !!!

I love that you can buy replacement cutting blades and scoring blades and
that the cuts are so accurate as the guide cannot be "worn" down as
it is "under" the clear part!

To me - this is a total necessity and honesty I bought another one to put the Rotary Additon on it so I do not have to take it on and off...this way I have the felxability to make all sorts of cuts - small scallop border and a tiny wave border

I also love that I can store my replacement cutting and scoring blades right underneath the trimmer. It holds several and also has room for other items to be stored.

Paper Snips -
ok...this is another thing that I am sure many of you say....I have a
pair of scissors...why would I spend $9.95 for a pair....well if you
have them you already know that they are the best scissors.

For those of you that do not like to "Fussy Cut" - this is the "Cats Meow" - once you try them - you'll be hooked - but buy 2.....I have 4, but it is due to always misplacing them!

They are the best to take on planes....because of the case - I never
have an issue with them.

They are so sharp and cut through paper like it was butter.

Craft Scissors - ok...I know that these are REALLY $$$$$
and it took me 2 years to purchase them and everytime I use them I say
to myself - why in the heck did I not buy these before? This is why I
adore them!

The are literally a weapon.....I am serious - they are the one of heaviest and sharpest scissors in the world! To cut ribbon with "no frays" - this is a major ticket! I can cut piece of ribbon "flush" to the edge of a card and you would think that I wrapped it around, but nope! they are just that sharp!

I realize that they are $$$$ but as my Mom always said, you pay for
what you get! This is a great item to use a 1/2 price item or use your
hostess rewards with! Do it....you will not regret it! I have 2 pairs....I have a piece of ribbon tied to one pair to let me know only to cut ribbon or fabric with them and the other is my go to for larger cutting items.

Big Shot Magnetic Platform -
This is simply a No-Brainer....remember how it was sold out for so
long and so many people were very frustrated!?!?! - Well, the reason
is very....SIMPLE - it is the GREATEST! This is a super easy product that totally out performs it's price.. "why" I love it!

Do you remember how frustrating it was to have to use "Post It Notes" to
hold your framelits in place??? UGH - who wants to do that!!! This
eliminates every frustration that is possible when cutting using the framelits and edgelits...but REMEMBER - you still need to use your cutting pads with the Magnetic Platform!!!

I love to use this tool to get a "peek -a boo" look on the front of my cards....and then stamp an image on the inside!

This also is great to use different sizes of a framlit to make frame which creates a wow statement!

Designer Series Paper Stacks - I know that I said that I was not going to go with "solid paper" but this is different - these are a MUST
in my opinion as with all of the other options that we have with lining
and decorating our cards and envelopes....these paper stacks are just fabulous! Why....

They come in every color palate that Stampin Up offers so you know that you will ALWAYS get s fun paper to match a project you are working on!

They are a great accent to make a WOW happen with a simple card!
Each color comes in four differnt print schemes....so you will never be
bored with the variety of prints!

Candy Dots - Who ever thought of these was nothing short of a genius!!! LOVE THEM....they are so easy to use!

These also come in every color collection that Stampin Up has...and they
are just $5.95 for 100 dots! It is a perfect quick accent to make a card
go from o.k. to POW with just a simple touch!

The easiest way to get these gems off...use your paper snips or paper piercer to get
"under" the adhesive....works everytime!

Stampin' Scrub - ok...I know that many of you are going to think that this is not a necessity but I am in TOTAL disagreement....why....look below!

This keeps your stamps clean and in great condition! Cleaning your stamps each and everytime they are used is a habit that is well worth the extra time....I ALWAYS use it each and everytime I stamp!

If you have it out...right as you are working and have the Stampin' Mist right beside you...(this is also a must - get the refill and the little one to mist and you are set for a really LONG time) - you will make a habit TO STAMPIN'...CLEANING...PUTTING YOUR STAMPS AWAY!!!!

I get asked often....how often should you clean it? Well there is...no secret
recipe...just when I feel like it's been a while! I simple run it under
the sink and "squish" water all around until I see the water run clear
and then pat it with a paper towel....and then put it on a drying rack
and by morning - it's ready to be used !!! This is another REAL must in my eyes!!!

O.k. - I know that I am totally rambling on and I just showcased only
7 items today....but I am going to continue with these types of posts
over the next 3 weeks!!! I hope that they have been helpful to you and also
have enlightened you to Stampin Up products....
I thank you
for popping by today and I truly wish you a very Happy New Year! I am not a
huge fan of New Year's resolutions as honestly I cannot seem to keep
them and I think there are times that we put the "Bar too high" for what we are trying to achieve....so I just try to be aware of what "I want to be about...what
I want to set out to accomplish...and what I would like to see myself MOVE a bit out of my comfort zone" and to try to do something nice
for someone each and everyday.... this is why I set only Six Goals instead of Resolutions.....Goals that I believe are in reach.

Hello and a happy ay to you all,

Well my August Mini "Buzz & Bumble" Album went so well that I only have 3 of the 20 kits with instructions left. WOW, that is wonderful. Because they went so fast, I decided that I would do another one with different papers and embellishments. This is still a 5" x 7" Pocket Mini Album, and I will be teaching a class this month as well. I really do love the papers that I used in
this album, it reminds me Summer Fun. The album consist
of the "Surf's Up" papers and stamp collection from
Close to My Heart (CTMH). I also included 2 buttons from my
stash that are colored with Copic Markers.

Hello all,

I know another post. Well my little one is trying to earn some more points to be able to get some more supplies from Stampin' Up (SU), so I was asked to put this on my blog to help her advertise. LOL She is 12 with a major love of paper and embellishments. She is going to be just like her mother. Anyways this is a special that is really a great one, as this bundle is extremely nice. I love butterflies and this stamp set is one of my favorites. I use it in my scrapbooking all the time and having the punch has made it much easier for me. Now I am not fussy cutting out the butterflies.
