Make Up Your Own Holiday Blog Hop

Well hello and welcome to the "Make Up Your Own Holiday Blog Hop". I do hope you are having a wonderfully GREEN March and fantastic weekend. If you have popped on here from Gina''s Stamping Creations then you are in the right place. If not, be sure to head over to One By One the Flamingo's are Stealing My Sanity and start your creative adventure of holidays you have never heard of.

My project is a Holiday to celebrate talent. This talent can be anything you want it to be. Mine is singing for this 1/4 of the year. My daughter and I try to go see a play, or go to a concert of unknowns. In May it is Latin Dancers at the Festival La Famila in Sacramento. Next month is the High School Chior on stage. So this is how I came up with my holiday. I think that the Arts of the young are not appreciated as much as they should be. The talent at some of the High Schools is amazing. The children that dance at the Festival La Famila are breath taking. There is a little play house call "B" Street Theater in Sacramento, that puts on the greats plays with unknown actors and they are great.

Well I do have some blog candy to give away. I don't have a picture of it due to my camera is giving me nothing but problems. I am not a techy person and this camera is a bit over my head. Well I have a NP 1 1/4" Square Stampin Up punch and a 2" x 2" craft box (it is ready for you to design on). All you need to do is be a follower and leave me a post. Then on Monday I will have Randy (Random.org) draw a winner. You must leave me a way to get a hold of you. I will post on my blog, but need to be able to inform you if you have won. Ok enough and on to the project

  20. What a wonderful way to celebrate talent. I totally agree with you---I used to take my kinds to plays, concerts and other cultural activities--and it paid off, as they still enjoy the arts as adults! I love your layout---what a nice memory this will be! Thanks for hopping with me--you're among the best! Karelj

  21. I agree with you about youth talent not being appreciated. My niece goes to a K-8 school and the chior for their 7&8 grade students is just amazing! They put in a lot of practice time, and I am glad to say that their ecents are well attended.

You did a great job with your LOs!
