Well this is it, the blog hop has started. I should be the last one on your list, so be sure to check my list to see that you have hit everyone. If you are just starting, you need to go to http://digi-scrap.blogspot.com/ .
All righty!!! For those of you in the right place, I will be doing a drawing on Monday for some Blog Candy. More information and pictures of the candy are further down in the post. I hope you have enjoyed your journey through the 2 day Thanksgiving Blog Hop. I am glad to have you here. I have jumped out of my comfort zone and created a card. I usually do scrapbook layouts cause this is my true love. Well a friend said I need to work doing more cards. So here is my creation:
Here is the inside:
The cut is found on the Celebrate with Flourish lite cartridge available at Walmart. The only thing that I did was made 3 cuts of the Acorn layer on the large flourish and 2 cuts on the small flourish (inside the card). I then trimmed the pieces to have the bottom (the seed), the center (acorn cap), and the top (the stem) so it would have a more layered look on the large flourish on the front of the card. The smaller flourish in the inside of the card I only did the bottom (the seed) for the layer. The large flourish on front of card was cut at 2.25", the small flourish inside the card was cut at 1.25", both these cuts where done using the Design Studio software. All the cut pieces were inked with Dew Drop - Versa Magic - Jumbo Java chalk ink.
The paper that was used was Creative Memories for the pattern paper, not sure of the pattern name. The cardstock is from my stash, so don't actually know the maker. The fiber is from a grab bag I purchased a while ago, and the brads are from Queen & Co. The stamp set used is from The Pink Stamper - Everyday Life collection using Dew Drop - Versa Magic - Jumbo Java chalk ink on a standard A2 card.
Hope you liked all that you saw and remember tomorrow is another project and another chance to win some Blog Candy.
