Summer Begins Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to the 2nd day of the Summer Begins Blog Hop. I hope that you enjoyed your the hop yesterday and enjoy again today. My post is late due to my youngest having a Birthday party today. It was 20 girls at my house swimming and bouncing in the bounce house. It was a fantastic party, but I just finished cleaning after everyone left (which was 6:30pm). So almost 5 1/2 hours of cleaning. YIKES!!! Not sure I will do that many again next year. Well enough about my wild day and on with the hop.

I do have blog candy for this hop and it is a Stampin' Up "Punch Border Scallop Trim". You have 2 chances to win by leaving a comment on yesterday and todays post. I will be drawing a winner Monday night.

Now on too the project part. I was going to put my daughters Summer Journal I made, but she was adding to it and said that I wasn't allowed to take a picture till it is finished. So my project is one of the invitations for a BBQ party that I am having the end of this month. It is going to be mostly adults, so that is why the CHEERS. LOL

I am still going GREEN by using only my scraps and mismatched odds and ends of paper that I have been collecting through the years. It was one of my main goals this year was to use as much of my scraps as possible. Plus I am trying to get better at making cards, so here is another of my attemps at it. LOL

Hope you enjoy this hop and my try at a card again. I hope to post that summer journal this week if my daughter ever finishes her special touches. LOL It is now time to head over to One by One the Flamingo's are Stealing my Sanity.

  5. Kathryn,
Love this cute card you made the drinks look good enough to drink.... I love that you are using up your scraps I've been pretty good at doing that myself... the new Cricut Expression 2 is great for using up your scraps don't know what it is but it's easier for me... Thanks for doing the hop... I always enjoy taking part in your hops.
