Tropical Paradise

TGIF!!!!

Well I know I had promised my Las Vegas Layouts, but haven't gotten pictures taken yet. But I got one better. I took some scraps that I had and made a Tropical Paradise layout that is not the greatest, but is putting me in the mood for my November cruise vacation to the Caribbean. It seems so far away, but now I feel like it isn't that far off. LOL It is pretty bad looking forward to something that is 6 months away. Well enough and lets get to the layout:

No Cricut cuts, but used some old Prima flowers, scrap ribbon (which I layered to get the color I wanted), scrap fiber around some of the mats, and old stickers that I had from a kit that I had.

Excuse the magnets at the top of the layout pages. I forgot to remove them when taking the phones.

Oh, forgot did use an old SU punch that I had for one of the journaling mats on this page.

Well I hope you liked my first layout upload in a long while. I will be trying to upload at least one a week, but I am going back to work next week and we will see how that goes.

My plate is never to full......

Life is really very funny in how it piles your plate full of those very unexpected events. Well let just say my plate is overflowing at this time.

I had a very major surgery just 10 weeks ago.

I had complications and ended up getting an infections 9 weeks ago

Then 8 weeks ago I was back at the hospital having my belly button removed due to the infection

My son had a surgery 7 weeks ago to remove a growth.

Family from out of town showed up and that was fun!!!

I had 6 dogs for several days a week ago. (Let me tell you about lots of work)

I have started a new business and haven't had much time to work on it. I really need to get this up and going. (so if any of your are interested in CTMH products or kits, please let me know)

This past Tuesday I go in and have another complication with a piece of gauze and a staple that was left in the area where my belly button was removed.

Then last night my son goes into the emergency room with pain in his belly and got put into emergency surgery his Appendix (don't know if that is spelled right) at 3 am this morning.

My littlest one is to have her 12 Birthday party this weekend and haven't gotten anything ready.

Oh and to top it all off dear hubby has been working 12 to 16 hour days and hasn't been able to get any of the yard, pool, or party work that is needed to be done.

So, I am asking that I get a break for a little while as I am really running out of energy and patients with with my life. I need a good week of nothing but relaxing and enjoying doing nothing, having no worries, and just vegitating.

Alright, I am done complaining and will put my big girl pants on and lift my chin high and just push through this and make it through to the next challenge that will be placed on my very full plate. So to just dump, but I justed needed to get it off my chest. I know that everything that comes my way in my life makes me the person I am and a better person as well, as long as I deal with it head on and keep in my mind that tomorrow is another day and will be better.

So to all of you who are feeling really wrung out, it will get better if you believe it will.

June Scrap4Fun Classes

Hello all you Scrapbookers,

It is Summer finally!!!!! I will be offering a June Scrapbook Layouts Class, using the fun and bright Footloose papers from CTMH. These are some of my favorite colors and work perfectly for those fun in the sun pictures you have boxed up or laying around. Get those vacation, beach, and pool pictures out and lets scrap them, or any pictures you will be taking this summer. I would love to have you join us for a class!

I have 2 times to choose from, please RSVP for the class of your choice by June 17th. So call me ASAP at (916) 524-2490. I have a maximum of 8 in each class. Thank you for understanding. If you can't make it to a class, but would like a kit, just let me know and I will save one for you.

The supply fee is only $25 and includes both 2 page layouts plus a package of Seaside wooden shapes, paper flowers, buttons, brads and baker's twine to complete both of these layouts. The fee will need to be prepaid and is nonrefundable to no-shows (no-shows will still receive the kit of course). The reason for this is supply items must be pre-ordered and pre-cut. You may also pay by PayPal for a $1 processing fee (total would be $26.50 for the kit). Will mail kits to others out of the area, but there will be a postage fee for mailing.

You'll be able to complete your layouts quickly when you bring some of your own tools. Please label all of your items with your name. Please bring the following supplies: Distress ink pad, Personal Trimmer, Scrapbooking Adhesive of your choice, foam squares for pop ups, glue dots and Scrapbooking scissors. If this is your first class, I will have what is needed, please just bring the items you already have.
